“Why are (most!) Netherlands-based Multinationals Offshoring and Outsourcing?
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
November 20, 2007

Peter Bendor-Samuel, CEO, Everest Group will speak at this Everest Group Europe Panel Discussion and Networking Dinner.

The increasingly global economy continues to drive significant change into leading organisations in the Netherlands. Some companies react with aggressive outsourcing and offshoring to streamline operations, while others steadfastly retain operations onshore and seek to either drive onshore efficiency or reinforce premium positioning.

Our panel of distinguished business leaders will draw upon their own knowledge and know-how to discuss their experiences and lessons learnt from offshoring, nearshoring and creating their own captives.

The panel will also consider why multinationals who have outsourced are more comfortable nearshoring to Eastern European countries in the EU, as well as the risks and rewards that arise from their sourcing decisions. Peter Bendor-Samuel, Founder & CEO of the Everest Group, will chair a panel including:

  • Bernhard van Oranje, CEO of Levy9
  • Frederik Paauwe, Strategy Manager Shell
  • Jose Manuel Torre, CFO Phillips Iberia
  • Ben van Schip, Manager of Centre of Excellence, Sourcing, ING
  • Michel de Zeeuw, Vice President European Operations, Infosys
