Peter Bendor-Samuel is founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Everest Group, a leading global business solutions advisory firm. Mr. Bendor-Samuel’s industry leading expertise results from more than two decades of crafting significant, large-scale outsourcing and partnering solutions. His unique understanding of both buyer and service provider perspectives has significantly shaped the methodology and analytical tools Everest Group employs to craft sophisticated, enduring business solutions that capture and sustain optimal value.

Mr. Bendor-Samuel is also the founder of the Outsourcing Center, the largest community providing educational resources focused on outsourcing. The Center is comprised of more than 400,000 community participants and receives more than 5,000 pieces of correspondence monthly. As an Everest Group Company, the Outsourcing Center helps the Everest Group gain deep insight into industry and technology trends as well as leading perspectives on outsourcing. The Center publishes the widely read Outsourcing Journal and BPO Outsourcing Journal – both also founded by Mr. Bendor-Samuel - and sponsors the annual Editor’s Choice Awards, a recognition of the world’s most outstanding outsourcing relationships.

Mr. Bendor-Samuel has significant client experience in the insurance, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail sectors. He has also worked in the telecommunications, transportation, pharmaceutical, and hospitality industries. His experience covers the full range of outsourcing processes ranging from all IT processes to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). He was an early pioneer of the BPO industry and quickly became a leading advisor on F&A, HR, and supply chain management processes in the early 1990s.

Mr. Bendor-Samuel is the recipient of the 2001 Outsourcing World Achievement Award - it recognizes his impact on the outsourcing industry as a professional who demonstrates innovation, breaks new ground, and establishes standards on which others can build. He also serves as Honorable Advisor to the Strategic Outsourcing Council of Japan.

He is the author of Turning Lead Into Gold: The Demystification of Outsourcing, a book that shares his insights into the principles that make outsourcing work successfully and how buyers and service providers can construct enduring, win-win relationships.

As one of the outsourcing industry’s foremost thought leaders, Mr. Bendor-Samuel is regularly quoted in business magazines and periodicals. For example, he is a regular contributor to Forbes and headlines their special quarterly survey on outsourcing. He is a frequent keynote speaker at corporate, industry, and other media events. Additionally, his expertise is widely recognized in the US investment banking community. For example, Mr. Bendor-Samuel is often asked to provide advice regarding mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and to help analysts better understand the outsourcing industry and its impact on the economy at large.

Prior to founding the Everest Group, Mr. Bendor-Samuel was an executive with EDS, one of the world’s largest outsourcing suppliers. Additionally, he founded the outsourcing division of Ernst & Young, LLP.
